Justin Bieber should never be allowed near animals again! This time, the short-attention-stricken singer appears to have palmed off his sick puppy on a friend, whoâs now trying to scrounge up $8,000 for a lifesaving operation for the Chow Chow puppy.

In August last year, Bieber proudly introduced his ânew little fluff ball Toddâ to his fans on Instagram. Later he posted a video of the preternaturally fluffy animal, wondering adoringly, âHow are you real?â

However, the infatuation has passed. It seems that Justin Bieber – who famously adopted and then dismissed a monkey, a hamster and a snake – has given the dog to one of his dancers, C.J. Salvador.
It gets worse for Todd. Salvador has created a GoFundMe page for the luckless mutt, explaining that the pooch âis a 7-month-old Chow Chow born with a birth defect called âsever hip dysplasia.â Long story short, by the time he turns 1, he wonât be able to walk, run, let alone play.â
Hip dysplasia (canine): In dogs, hip dysplasia is an abnormal formation of the hip socket that, in its more severe form, can eventually cause crippling lameness and painful arthritis of the joints. It is a genetic polygenic trait that is affected by environmental factors.

Salvador says that Todd can either be put down or have a âvery specialized surgery.â
âSo I am humbly asking you to donate anything,â he writes. The fundraising goal of $8,000 has been met, and the count is now up to $8,246.
After this story was published online, Salvador wrote on Facebook that his family had âadoptedâ the dog and that he âdid not ask [Bieber] for money because he has nothing to do with the situation,â because the defect had only been discovered after they took the dog in.
